The laundry sink at the diner on 5th backed up mid lunch rush, and I almost reached for the wrong tool
I was under that sink at noon on a Friday with water coming up the floor drain, and my first move was to grab a hand snake before I remembered the grease trap hadn't been pumped since March. I pulled the trap lid instead and found 4 inches of solid fat, so I shop vac'd it out and the drain cleared in 20 minutes. Any of you keep a pump out log for your restaurant accounts, or do you just wait for the call?
