Question about the old lead solder in commercial buildings

I was reading an old plumbing code book from the 70s and saw that lead based solder was standard for potable water lines back then. It made me think about all the old office buildings we still service. Has anyone had to deal with a full repipe because of that, or is there a standard way to test for it now?

Yeah, we have to test for it. Did you get a positive result on your place?

Wait, lead solder was actually standard in drinking water lines until the 70s? That's alarming.
