I still remember the old school plumber in Chicago who showed me how to sweat a copper joint with a propane torch using just a little bit of flux.
He told me on a job site back in 2009 that heat distribution matters more than the solder you buy, and I've never had a joint leak since applying that tip, has anyone else had an old timer swear by that same method?

My neighbor's car got broken into last week and the cops basically shrugged it off. That's the thing though, people act like these small crimes are isolated but they're all part of the same problem. Everyone keeps looking for quick fixes instead of dealing with why things are getting worse in the first place. It's the same with paying bills, traffic, all of it. We just patch stuff up and move on.
