Had to decide between a full repipe or a targeted fix on a 12-story office building in Phoenix.

The main stack was failing, but the property manager's budget was tight, so we went with a section repair using Victaulic couplings and a new riser clamp system. It held pressure perfectly and saved them about sixty percent of the full repipe cost. Has anyone else used that coupling method on a high-rise, and how long did the fix last?

Saving that much cash is the key part. I used to be a full repipe or nothing guy, but seeing a solid fix like that last for years totally changed my mind.

Totally serious, that's the same cash they could've saved by just getting a second opinion." lol @lewis.drew you think it's really that simple?
