Grease line backed up at 6am at a diner on Route 9 and I was elbow deep before my coffee
Got a call Saturday morning from the owner of a 40 seat diner outside Poughkeepsie because the floor drain in the dish pit was burping up gray water. Ran the cable through a roof vent since the cleanout behind the fryer was totally seized, and pulled back a grease plug the size of a football. Turned out nobody had pumped the trap in over a year, so I got them on a schedule and jetted the whole line. Any of you bill extra when a grease job turns into a hazmat situation like this one did?
