The constant updates and glitches make it IMPOSSIBLE to get a clear dive profile without multiple restarts.

After @ryanburns mentioned that wet notebook mess, your extra hour of software prep sounds like a feature, not a bug. Spending ninety minutes arguing over math because a screen went gray is the real dive test. Maybe they should include a free abacus with the next update. Just think of all the bonding time on the boat while you restart for the third time.

Man, my buddy had the worst time with that last month. His software froze right as they were loading nitrogen tables for a deep wreck dive. Whole screen went gray. They had to scratch all their planned deco stops and do the math by hand on a wet notebook. Added like ninety minutes of arguing on the boat before they even got wet. Total mess.

Yikes, that's my nightmare right there. I'd be the one staring at a gray screen trying to remember how to reboot the thing, let alone do math for deco stops. My idea of a complex calculation is figuring out if I have enough coffee for the week. Major respect to your buddy's crew for sorting it out, ryanburns, even with the arguing. Did they at least get to make the dive after all that?
