Just realized my old dive log from 2009 is worth more to me than any app
Was digging through a box in the garage in Galveston last month and pulled out my paper logbook from the Gulf jobs back in 2009. Every dive has a pen entry with the depth, the bottom time, and a little note like "vis 2 ft, hand on the pipeline the whole run." I've been logging on my phone for 3 years now and it takes ten seconds but I couldn't tell you the name of the boat from my last job. Something about writing it down by hand made me remember the crew, the weather, all of it. Any of you still keep a paper log or did everyone go digital?
