Just read a report that said the average offshore oilfield diver logs over 300 hours of bottom time in their first year.
Found it in a 2022 industry safety review from Norway. Does that track with what you guys have seen starting out?

That Norwegian report is pretty spot on. My first year was 280 hours on the books, mostly in the North Sea. Just hope you like living in a saturation chamber.
