Warning: I let a 10 year old pick my pulls for a month and it broke my brain
My nephew stayed with us in Denver for 4 weeks and I let him pick my single issues every Wednesday at the shop on Colfax. That kid grabbed stuff I would never touch, like a Squirrel Girl run and some weird horror book about a haunted vending machine, and every one of them was a blast. I have been reading capes for 22 years and I got so stuck in my own lane that I forgot comics could just be fun. Anyone else ever hand the wheel to a kid and get surprised?
Wait, a kid picking your comics "broke your brain"? Isn't that just you getting bored with your own taste after 22 years? Sounds more like a you problem than some big life lesson.
