The old Wednesday crowd vs the new Saturday crowd at my LCS

My local shop in Portland used to have a real tight group of readers on Wednesdays who would hang out and actually talk about the writing and art for an hour after pulling their books. Now Saturdays are packed with people who just flip through bags looking for variant covers like they're trading cards. Has anyone else seen their shop's vibe shift depending on which day you go?

Yeah crazy times. But collectors gonna collect I guess.
