Paid $80 for a complete run of X-Men #1-100 back in 2009, turns out it was a good call

I grabbed a full lot off a guy clearing out his storage and now a single issue from that set can go for what I paid for everything. Anyone else kick themselves for not grabbing runs when they were dirt cheap?

Seems like you really hit the jackpot there lol. My buddy snagged a complete Uncanny X-Men run from 150-300 for like $200 back in 2010, and now he just laughs every time he checks eBay prices. Wish I had that kinda foresight back then.

$80 for X-Men #1-100 is insane, that's like a steal and a half. I missed out on a similar deal with Amazing Spider-Man #50-150 back in 2012 for $150 and I still think about it. Prices just exploded on everything after the movies hit.
