Wait, is that really all it comes down to? I used to get defensive about my collection but honestly, a clean, organized room of stuff I barely touch vs. a messy pile of the same stuff, lol. That guy kind of made me realize half my boxes are just junk with better shelving.

That whole "better lighting" part really gets me though. People forget that half of collecting is the HUNT, not just the stuff sitting on shelves. The thrill of finding that one issue you've been chasing for three years at a random garage sale, that's worth more than the comic itself. Nothing wrong with having a clean setup, but comparing it to hoarding totally ignores the adventure and the community around it all.
