My pull list went from 30 books a month to 4, and I'm weirdly happier
Back in 2022 I was pulling everything at my shop in Sacramento just to keep up with the group chat, but now I wait for the trade and actually remember what happened in each story, so how do you all decide what makes the monthly cut?
That's the part I'm curious about too, like what actually earns a spot now. Is it writers you'll follow no matter what, or characters you're too attached to drop? I've got a couple I keep pulling mostly out of habit and I can't tell if that's loyalty or just being scared to miss something. And when a book you dropped turns out to be great in trade, do you ever feel like you called it wrong?
