I finally changed my mind about silver age comics after finding a sales chart

I used to think silver age comics were just overpriced nostalgia bait (you know, like a trap for boomers with money). But then I found a sales breakdown on a blog called Comic Chronology that showed Amazing Spider-Man #3 sold only 250,000 copies in 1963, which is tiny compared to modern runs. That low print run made me realize the scarcity is real, not just hype from collectors trying to jack up prices. It changed how I see those old books, like they're actual historical artifacts instead of just expensive paper. Has anyone else had their mind changed by a random stat like that?
