Figured out the perfect bag and board combo for long boxes after 10 years of jamming comics in too tight...
Switched to using 2mm厚的boards instead of the standard ones and now my Silver Age issues slide in without any edge damage, has anyone else found a specific thickness that just clicks for their setup?

6mm boards changed my life, same as when I stopped cramming leftovers into too-small containers.

Is it crazy that I used to think thick boards were a waste of space? But trying out 2mm stuff on a whim totally changed my mind. The Silver Age books just feel safer now, and honestly I don't miss the storage space that much.

One thing nobody seems to mention is how the board thickness changes the way you stack them in the box. If you go too thick you lose a bunch of storage space. I use 3mm boards for my silver age stuff because they're just enough to stop the spine roll without making the box feel like a brick. Plus they're easier to find than 2mm which is weirdly rare in some shops.
