DAE realize they were bagging and boarding wrong for 12 years?

I was putting the board behind the book and sliding it in spine first this whole time, which is why my X-Men 266 kept getting stress marks on the cover. A guy at the Chicago comicon last month showed me you bag it with the board in front of the cover and the flap on the back, and my whole long box looks better now. Anyone got a link to the proper way for thick annuals?

Wait, was it the board on the front side this whole time? I watched a YouTube video from a guy who runs a comic shop in Ohio and he said the board goes behind the book, not in front, so now I'm confused about which one is right. In his demo he slid the book in with the back cover against the board, then folded the flap over the top, and he swore that keeps the spine from sliding around. Maybe it depends on the bag type though, because the newer resealable ones sit different than the old flap kind. I've been doing it his way for a year now and my annuals with the thick spines seem fine, no stress marks on the corners anyway.
