Why I stopped working from the Daily Grind on 3rd Street
Last Tuesday I was at the Daily Grind on 3rd Street, sipping my usual dark roast, when a guy at the next table started a Zoom call without headphones. He blasted his whole client negotiation for 45 minutes while I tried to debug a payment gateway bug. Has anyone else had to abandon a cafe because of one person's loud meeting?

That guy on 3rd Street is exactly why I started carrying those cheap foam earplugs in my bag. The noise cancelling headphones just can't compete with someone who thinks the whole cafe is their private conference room.

Wait, @blair_davis, do those earplugs actually block out the cappuccino machine too? I tried a pair once and just heard my own heartbeat the whole time.
