Why does nobody mention how loud a cafe gets at 11:30?
I counted 54 people walk through the door of this place near downtown Austin in 20 minutes on a Tuesday, and my noise cancelling headphones just gave up. I had a call at 11:45 and the barista fired up the grinder right in the middle of it, so the client heard me shout "sorry, hang on" three times. Now I check the rush schedule before I pick a seat, which is a thing I never thought I'd be doing. Anyone got a spot in town that stays quiet past 11?
