Wasted $60 on a travel router that kept disconnecting every 15 minutes at coffee shops.

I bought a TP-Link travel router thinking it would fix spotty cafe Wi-Fi but it dropped signal so much I had to hotspot from my phone instead, has anyone else had better luck with a different brand?

$60 for a router that can't even stay connected for 15 minutes? That's brutal, I'd be so annoyed.

Did you get the same model I had? @margaretk89 I had EXACTLY the same thing happen with mine, it was SO frustrating. Honestly I think those cheap travel routers are just GARBAGE for real world use.
