The day a cafe in Austin made me buy a portable battery pack
I was deep into a client call at a spot on South Congress when they unplugged my table for floor cleaning. My laptop died at 12% and I lost the connection. Now I carry a 20,000mAh Anker pack everywhere. Anyone else have a cafe power fail story?

Lost the connection" seems a bit dramatic. Couldn't you just plug back in after they finished cleaning?

Oh man, that reminds me of my buddy's disaster last week. He was in the middle of a huge online tournament, and the building super just yanked the hallway outlet for the floor buffer. By the time he could even get to the door, the game was over and his team had lost. It's not always as simple as plugging back in, @troy_ross, some things have real time limits.
