The barista at the Fremont spot in Seattle asked what I was working on, and it led to a 2 hour networking lunch
Turns out she used to be a project manager before opening the cafe, and she gave me a better plan for my slow client onboarding than any book I'd read. Now I make it a point to chat with one new person at every cafe I work from, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had a random cafe chat turn into actual work.
