Rant: I fought the tiny Turkish place's wifi for 20 minutes before trying the cafe two doors down
Last Tuesday I set up at a little spot on 5th Ave here in Brooklyn, and the wifi kept dropping every 90 seconds while I tried to push a hotfix, so I got nothing done and burned half my morning. I walked two doors down to a bigger cafe, tested their guest network, and pulled the same code in about 12 minutes flat. Same laptop, same coffee order, just a router that actually works. Does anyone else test wifi speed before ordering, or do you just roll the dice like I did?
