Overheard a Barista's Wi-Fi Tip That Saved My Whole Workday
Honestly, I was at a packed Blue Bottle in Austin yesterday and overheard the barista tell a regular to use the public library's hotspot a block away. I tried it during a laggy video call and it was like 10x faster, plus no one was there. Tbh, I've been paying $8 for a latte just for shaky internet, never thought to check if the library had open access. Has anyone else found a hidden work spot that beats the local coffee shop's connection?

and honestly libraries are sleeping on being the ultimate work hack. my local branch has these quiet study rooms you can book for free and the wifi is stupid fast because nobody thinks to use it. plus they got those big ass desks and outlets everywhere, way better than fighting for a table at starbucks where the baristas blast music. i've even seen people bring their own french press and coffee setup to the library lounge, which is next level. only downside is they close earlier than most coffee shops, so i save my deep work for mornings and hit the cafe for after-hours brain dumps.

totally feel you @paul_morgan, the library is my secret weapon too but that early closing time kills me every single time.
