My laptop charger died mid sprint and the cafe only had one outlet left

I was in a cafe in Austin, right in the middle of a big code push, when my charger just stopped. The only free plug was across the room, way too far. In a panic, I grabbed my USB-C phone cable and plugged the laptop into a portable battery pack I keep for my phone. It actually gave me enough juice to finish the commit and save everything before the laptop died. Has anyone else pulled off a weird power save like that?

Tbh, @jakep24 has the right idea with a bigger power bank for laptops.

Honestly, I keep a 65W power bank in my bag just for my laptop now. The small phone ones won't cut it for long, but a decent one with PD charging can give you a solid hour or two. Saved me at the airport last month.
