My laptop battery used to last a full workday at the cafe, now I'm lucky to get 3 hours
Six months ago I could camp out at the spot on 5th Ave from 9am to 5pm on one charge, but now I'm hunting for outlets by noon. Nothing changed except I stopped closing Chrome tabs and my video calls went from audio only to always on camera. Anyone else notice their cafe setup slowly getting more power hungry without realizing it?
My buddy had the same thing happen and it turned out his camera being on all day was the real battery killer, not the tabs. He switched to audio only for most calls and got a solid chunk of his day back.
