I finally gave up my corner table at The Daily Grind in Austin

Always thought I needed a big table for my laptop and notebook, but I moved to a tiny stool by the window last Tuesday. My focus got way better with less space to clutter, and I finished a project in two hours. Anyone else find a weird spot that just works?

You ever try working from a folding chair in your own garage? I did that once and my back still hasn't forgiven me.

oh man, that corner table thing is exactly what I went through but in reverse almost. I used to swear by this tiny cramped booth at my local coffee shop because I thought less space meant less distraction, but then I switched to the big communal table one day and something just clicked. I spread out all my notes and my phone and my water bottle and it sounds chaotic but for some reason my brain just calms down, like it has room to breathe. My friend still gives me grief about it because she likes her little nook by the bathroom, but I swear the table size doesn't matter as much as the vibe matching your brain's weird rhythm. It's wild how a simple furniture switch can totally change your flow, like suddenly the whole day just falls into place.

That corner table is my productivity throne, though.
