I always packed my laptop in a backpack until a spill in Denver showed me why a sleeve matters.

My coffee tipped over and soaked right through the bag fabric, but my friend's laptop in a hard shell case was fine. Now I debate if the extra bulk of a case is worth it versus just being more careful. What's your take on laptop protection for cafe work?

Ugh, tell me about it. Yeah, @laurabennett, I definitely learned the hard way. Like the time I tried to fix my own sink and ended up flooding the kitchen floor. Cost me way more than just calling a plumber first.
