Figured out why my calls always cut out at that corner table

I was ready to give up on my go-to cafe because every video call would freeze. It made me look so unprofessional to clients. I thought it was just busy hours, but it happened even on slow days. Then I saw a delivery guy unplug the router to charge his phone. Now I always check the power strip before I settle in. No more dropped calls since I started doing that.

Classic cafe power strip hunger games right there.

That bit about the delivery guy unplugging the router makes me wonder about the whole outlet. If they have a mini fridge, a blender, or even a neon sign on the same circuit, the power draw when those kick on could mess with the router's signal even if it stays plugged in. You might have found the main culprit, but that power strip could be fighting other appliances too.

My home router freaks out when the air conditioner kicks on, same problem.
