Bluetooth keyboard vs mechanical for coffee shop coding

I've been remote working from cafes for 3 years and tried both. Bluetooth keyboards are quiet but lag sometimes. Mechanical keyboards are louder but way faster. Has anyone else noticed a big difference in typing speed or accuracy between the two?

Yeah I've been through this exact thing. Got a mechanical for home and bluetooth for cafes. The lag on bluetooth is real with certain key combos - like hitting ctrl+shift+tab gets delayed sometimes. I stick with my Logitech K380 for coffee shops cause it's quiet and nobody gives me dirty looks. But for speed? Mechanical wins every time, I'm easily 20% faster on my Keychron.
