Avoid the Bean & Bloom on 5th after 2pm, their wifi dies every Tuesday
Sat down at the Bean & Bloom on 5th street last Tuesday around 2:15pm to push a client deadline. Ordered a $6 oat latte, opened my laptop, and the wifi dropped 11 times in 40 minutes. The barista shrugged and said the router reboots every Tuesday afternoon for a software update. I lost a half finished mockup and had to redo 2 hours of work on my phone hotspot in the car. Anyone know a spot within walking distance that holds a stable connection past 2pm?
