My coffee scale hit 1,000 brews this morning and I had no idea I was keeping count.

Mine did that last month. The little screen just said "1000" and I had a full minute of panic thinking it was broken. Turns out it was just a weird milestone counter. My old scale would track total weight, which was fun to see how many pounds of coffee I'd gone through. This one only counts brews, which feels less useful.

You said tracking brews feels less useful, but I actually like it. It's a direct count of your coffee routine, not just a pile of beans. Seeing 1,000 brews makes me think of all those quiet mornings. The total weight is cool, but the brew number feels more personal, like a diary of daily habits.

Honestly used to be in the same boat about the brew count being pointless, but seeing it hit a round number like that makes you stop and think. It's more like a little diary of all those mornings where you just went through the motions without noticing. Now I kinda get why people like it, the number feels earned.
