Ever had that happen? Honestly, I just dialed my grinder way back to a medium setting and it fixed everything. Tasted way better after that.

Totally feel that. Chasing a super fine grind for espresso had me making bitter tar for weeks. Backed it off to a coarser setting like you said and boom, completely different drink. It was wild how much of a difference just that one change made. The flavors actually came through instead of just tasting burnt. Never going back to powder-fine again.

Remember when everyone was obsessed with cold brew concentrate? I tried making it super strong once, ground the beans into dust. It was like drinking bitter mud water, couldn't even taste the coffee. Ended up watering it down so much it was just brown water. Now I just buy the premade stuff.
