Got burned paying $15 for a bag of 'single origin' coffee that was clearly just cheap beans repackaged

Bought this fancy looking bag at a local market last Saturday. Tasted flat and burnt no matter how I brewed it, figured out the roaster's address on the label was literally a PO box in a strip mall. Anyone else deal with overpriced coffee that's all marketing?

Bag was only $15, not worth getting worked up over.

You read that article about coffee brands faking their origin stories too? I swear half these small batch roasters are just buying bulk beans and slapping on a cool label. The PO box thing is a dead giveaway, happened to me once with a bag that claimed to be from Ethiopia. Now I only buy from places that actually show the farm or co-op on their website. Straight up rip-off culture with these $15 bags.

Same thing with so many "local" products nowadays, just a label on generic junk.
