Wasted $200 on a Python bootcamp that barely taught me anything

I signed up for this online Python bootcamp called CodePro Academy back in March, thinking it would fast-track me into a job. Turned out it was just a bunch of pre-recorded videos from 2019 with no real support, and I learned more from free YouTube tutorials in two weeks. Honestly, I feel like I threw that money down the drain, and I wish I'd asked around first. Has anyone else gotten burned by a pricey coding course that didn't deliver?

I used to think paying for courses was the only way to learn properly. Codecademy Pro got me for $150 a few years back and it was basically the same thing - old content and no help when I got stuck. FreeCodeCamp and YouTube taught me way more in a month than that paid stuff ever did. It definitely changed my mind about throwing money at bootcamps.

Funny how that works, @coleman.jamie. It's the same with tools at the hardware store.
