Spent 3 hours chasing a bug that was just a missing semicolon in my calculator app
I was building a basic calculator in JavaScript last week at my kitchen table in Portland and my divide button kept spitting out NaN. I rewrote the whole function twice, googled like 20 different fixes, and even switched from one tutorial to another thinking my logic was broken. Turned out I just forgot a semicolon on line 47 and the whole thing was fine. I felt so dumb but also kind of relieved it wasn't the math. What's the dumbest tiny typo that ever ate your whole evening?
