Pro tip: Dont waste $200 on that 'all-in-one' coding bootcamp prep course
I dropped $200 on a so-called complete coding bootcamp prep course last month and it was basically just a bunch of YouTube videos they repackaged. Half the content was outdated by like 3 years and the exercises didnt even run on my machine without fixing typos. I spent more time googling errors than actually learning anything useful. For $200 I should have at least gotten a private discord or something, not a glorified PDF. Save your cash and just use the Odin Project or freeCodeCamp for free instead. Anybody else get burned by one of these expensive beginner courses? What was the worst one you tried?

Bought one of those five dollar "learn to code in 24 hours" ebooks on a whim years ago. The first chapter told me to install Windows 98 for compatibility. Left it in a coffee shop for someone else to suffer through.

It's like everything lately has a "deluxe" version that's just the regular thing in a nicer box. Everyone's rushing to put a premium price tag on stuff that used to be free.
