My local library's free code club saved me $200 in course fees
Last Tuesday I almost dropped $200 on another online bootcamp, but instead I walked into the Free Library on Market Street for their weekly beginner Python meetup. Turns out a retired developer named Tom runs it every Thursday at 6pm, and he spent 40 minutes just helping me fix a loop that had me stuck for days. The real kicker is that the other 12 people there were all in the same boat as me, so we debug each other's homework between sessions. Has anyone else found free local groups that beat paid tutorials, or am I just lucky Philly has this hidden gem?
