Lost $200 on a weekend bootcamp that taught me nothing practical

I wasted $200 on a weekend bootcamp in Austin that promised Python basics but the instructor just read slides from the official docs. We never built one real project and I left more confused about error handling than when I started. Has anyone else gotten scammed by a paid beginner course that was basically free YouTube content?
