Had a chat with my cousin who codes in Assembly - made me rethink "easy" languages
My cousin visited from Austin last week and he builds stuff in Assembly for microcontroller work. He showed me his code and said "you learn more from grinding through addresses than you ever will from Python shortcuts." Made me realize maybe I've been too quick to dismiss low-level languages as just for old timers. Has anyone else tried going backwards to learn something harder on purpose?

Oh man that reminds me of when I tried learning C after years of Python and I felt like I was learning to walk again. Really humbled me fast.

Mark731, same thing happened with me and Rust after years of JS. Total ego check!
