My Hypertherm torch dove into the water table on a 3/4 inch plate in Reno
I was cutting a batch of brackets last Tuesday when the arc lost the plate and the tip slammed into the slats, so I stopped the run and swapped in a new shield and electrode before touching anything else. Has this happened to anyone else, and do you bump your pierce height or just slow the feed down when the steel gets thicker?
