Unpopular opinion: Bargain materials hurt our efficiency big time

We keep using low grade aluminum, and it's always full of surprises. I scrapped three parts yesterday due to hidden flaws in the stock. This wastes so much time and effort. Does anyone else struggle with material quality issues?
