Tried a new coolant on our old Haas and the difference was crazy

We were using the cheap bulk stuff from the supply house for years. Switched to Blaser Swisslube Synergy 735 last month and tool life on our aluminum jobs went up by almost 30%. Anyone else seen a jump like that just from changing coolant?

Our shop tried that, saw maybe 5% better.

My old mill drinks the cheap stuff like I drink bad coffee.

30% jump sounds high but I've seen similar numbers when switching from the cheap stuff to something that actually stays mixed. Make sure you're testing concentration regularly with a refractometer, the expensive coolants still go bad if you let them get too weak. A fresh coolant change cleaned out all the bacterial slime in our lines too, which probably helped as much as the chemistry.
