Talked to a mold maker who changed my setup routine
I was at a job shop in Dayton last week waiting on a quote and this old guy, Bill, watched me zero a vise for like 20 minutes. He said I was fighting the parallels instead of just measuring once and trusting the indicator, which honestly stung a bit because I've been doing it the same way for 5 years. Anyone else ever get a tip from a stranger that made you redo your whole process, or is it just me?
