Heard a guy at the shop in Dayton say 'a good operator makes the program, a great operator fixes it'
He was talking about a stainless job where the posted code had a bad feed in a pocket. Instead of just running it and breaking a tool, he caught it and adjusted it on the control. It made me think, is it better to always tweak things at the machine to save time, or should every program be perfect before it hits the floor? Where do you draw the line?

Totally, I've saved so many jobs with a quick feed override!

Wait, that actually worked without crashing the whole job?

I've definitely saved a few from myself.
