Had a part coming off the mill with the same 0.004 inch error on one hole, no matter what I did. Checked the fixture, re-zeroed the tool, even swapped out the collet, still there. Turns out the work offset in the control had a leftover value from a previous job, one number I never thought to look at. Spent about 9 total hours over 3 days on it, and the fix was deleting a single line. Anyone else get burned by an old offset that just sits in the memory?
