Rant: my packaging supplier swore foam inserts were worth it, now I'm not so sure
A guy from PackRight Solutions in Austin talked me into foam inserts for my taco boxes, saying it would cut breakage and bad reviews. I spent $350 extra last month on them, and honestly my spill rate dropped maybe 2%, but the boxes are bulky and drivers hate stacking them. Another cloud kitchen owner told me crumpled kraft paper does the same job for pennies, and now I'm wondering if I got upsold. Has anyone else ditched fancy inserts for cheap padding and seen their ratings stay the same?
