Overheard a driver complaining about cold fries and it clicked
I was picking up supplies at a restaurant depot last week and heard two DoorDash drivers complaining about a place that doesn't wrap their fries in foil. They said the heat escapes through the paper bag and by the time it gets delivered, it's cold and sad. That got me thinking about my own setup. I switched to wrapping my hot sandwiches in butcher paper before boxing them, and my last 12 deliveries have zero complaints about temp. Has anyone else found a simple packaging swap that helped your reviews?

Oh man, that foil trick is a game changer. I started doing the same thing with my pizza boxes and a cheap hot bag and it helped a ton. Simple stuff like that really does make a difference.

Used to think the foil was a waste of time honestly. But then I tried it on a cold night with a leftover sub from work and the bread was still soft instead of getting all hard and gross. Now I wrap pretty much everything in foil before it goes in the hot bag. Makes a world of difference for the texture of the food, not just the temp.
