Swapped my gas lawn mower for an electric one 3 months ago...

I always thought electric mowers were weak and expensive. Then my neighbor in Phoenix let me try his EGO mower last April. Cut through my bermuda grass no problem and I didnt have to smell gas or hear that loud noise. My electric bill only went up like $2 a month. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a big difference?

Oh man, what a good question! I'm curious @the_lucas, did your buddy mention if he had to upgrade the battery or anything? I'm on a normal lot with St. Augustine grass and my EGO chews through it fine, but I'm wondering how long the batteries actually last when it's 105 degrees out. Have you noticed any performance drop in the Arizona heat compared to spring weather?
