Spent $150 on a smart thermostat last winter - what a dud

Bought a fancy Nest knockoff in November to save on heating bills. Thing kept disconnecting from WiFi and my furnace ran nonstop for three days. Anybody else get burned by those "energy saving" gadgets they swear by?

Mine did the same thing. Woke up to a 90 degree house.

Man, same here. Felt like I was living in a pizza oven and I wasn't even getting the nice cheese.
