My solar inverter fried during a heatwave in Phoenix last month

It died at 115 degrees, and the repair guy told me most units aren't rated for that kind of heat, so now I'm stuck running an AC off a generator until I can get a replacement that actually works in the desert has anyone else dealt with this issue down here?

What brand was it so I know which ones to avoid in this heat?

Totally with you on that @phoenixgonzalez, my charger brick melted in the sun last summer just from sitting on the dash for like an hour. Bad enough that I had to throw it out, but the plastic actually warped and smelled like burning electronics for days. Really makes you wonder how they even pass safety tests sometimes.
